2. Demonstrative Pronoun (নির্দেশক সর্বনাম) :
This is my pen. That is her bag.
These are my pens. Those are his clothes.
This এবং These নিকটবর্তী জিনিসকে এবং That ও Those দূরবর্তী জিনিসকে নির্দেশ করে । যে Pronoun এক বা একাধিক ব্যক্তি বা বস্তুকে নির্দেশ করে তাকে Demonstrative Pronoun বলে ।
পূর্বে উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে noun - এর দ্বিতীয়বার ব্যবহার এড়ানোর জন্য that অথবা those ব্যবহার করা হয় ।
The climate of Sylhet is better than that of Dhaka.
The roads of Dhaka are wider than those of Chittagong.
3. Interrogative Pronoun (প্রশ্নবোধক সর্বনাম) :
Who - Who is he? অর্থাৎ, সে কে?
What - What is he? অর্থাৎ, সে বা তিনি কি করেন?
Which - Which pen do you like? কোন কলমটি তুমি পছন্দ কর?
Whom - Whom do you love most? তুমি কাকে সবচেয়ে বেশী ভালবাস?
Whose - Whose car is this? এই গাড়ীটি কার?
4. Relative Pronouns (সম্বন্ধবাচক সর্বনাম) :
Who - I know the man who came here yesterday.
What - I do not know what he likes.
Which - This is the book which I bought yesterday.
Whom - I know whom he loves most.
Whose - Everyday can tell you whose house this is.
That - All that glitters is not gold.
5. Indefinite Pronouns (অনির্দিষ্ট সর্বনাম) :
One - One should do one's duty.
Some - Some of the students are absent today.
Someone - Someone will do it.
Anyone - Is there anyone in the room?
Many - Many of my friends are poor.
6. Reflexive Pronouns (আত্ননির্দেশক সর্বনাম) :
myself (আমি নিজে) - I clean my room myself.
ourselves (আমরা নিজে) - We clean our rooms ourselves.
yourself (তুমি নিজে) - Clean your room yourself.
yourselves (তোমরা নিজে) - You should clean your rooms yourselves.
himself (সে/ তিনি নিজে) - He is looking himself in the mirror. She is looking herself in the mirror.
themselves (তারা / তারা নিজে) - The boys are cleaning the floor themselves.
itself (স্বয়ং) - The snake is hiding itself. Diamond itself is bright.
7. Distributive Pronouns (বণ্টন নির্দেশক সর্বনাম) :
Each (প্রত্যেকে) - Each of the boys has got a pencil.
Everyone (প্রত্যেকে) - Everyone of them has done the sum.
Either (দুটির যে-কোন একটি) - Either of the girls is very simple.
Neither (দুটির কোনটিই নয়) - Neither of the students has done his hometask.
8. Reciprocal Pronoun (পারস্পরিক সম্পর্ক নির্দেশক সর্বনাম) :
each other (একে অপরকে) - They love each other.
(দুইজনের মধ্যে) - Shelly and Sumi help each other.
One another (পরস্পরকে) - They help one another. The girls love one another.
